The Ways 3D TV Technology Works
Posted by in Television on February 13, 2012
Decades ago, we only know standard television technology, just a two dimension technology in our standard colored television unit. This was better compared with the oldest black and white television technology before ‘40s. Why some manufacturers produce 3D home television technology in 2009 is very logical. Some 3D films have risen frequently so that this is such a great combination. However, not many people discern how this highly developed technology develops. It was started with the oldest technology when viewers should wear the traditional glasses in order to watch three dimensional media. This kind of LCD TV owns two overlapping images with the polarized lenses glasses. Each lens is polarized so that it can see only one of the two overlapping images.
Comparing Plasma 3D TV and LCD 3D TV

3D television becomes the topic that many people talk about. This is because manufacturers always compete to be the best in inventing the television. Basically, people are accustomed to the newer technologies in the TV world like LCD, plasma, and LED. They are the products which attract many people to purchase. What about the 3D technology integration in the Plasma or LCD television? Regular buyer and people who do not really care about the contrast and pictures quality will never notice that there are significance differences between both of them. They will see the same things when they watch any program with plasma and LCD 3D televisions.
But, actually there are significant differences between both items especially on the way they process and display the content and pictures. You should look at their processing speed. LCD technology has been modified to have the fast processing time. Some manufacturers claim that it is about 480 Hz. That number is considered as revolutionary for the LCD technology. If there are some people claiming about the motion blur and jerky panning, that is only an issue. When you look at the plasma technology, you can be surprised about its stable and superior processing speed. It can be said that the processing speed is very much ahead of the LCD technology. That is at 600Hz.
You should also look at the pictures resulted from both options. This LCD 3D technology cannot cover the content into full High Definition 1080 resolution. It is because its maximum processing speed can only deliver at most 800 pixels of effective resolution. Only Plasma 3D television has the speed to deliver the effective full 1080 resolution to both eyes. Next, 800 pixels of LCD television cannot be totally effective resolution to both eyes, especially for displaying the 3D technology. Although it is considered enough, it cannot be maximal. On the contrary, this problem will not be found in plasma 3D television. It has deep perception and advanced pixel structure, so you can enjoy the superior 3D viewing display.
